Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser is the liquid version of our original Bar Keepers Friend Cleanser & Polish powder. Utilise this creamy, ready-to-use formula to swiftly coat hard, non-porous surfaces. It's particularly effective for cleaning vertical surfaces in the bathroom, like shower stalls, bathtubs, and toilets. When you squirt a horizontal line of BKF Soft Cleanser onto a vertical surface, gravity will cause the line to sheet downwards, forming a uniform coating.
Like BKF Powder, BKF Soft Cleanser excels at removing rust stains, metal tarnish, mineral deposits, soap scum, and everyday grime. Both products require thorough rinsing. To minimise the amount of rinsing needed, try using less BKF than you might initially think necessary. Remember, a little goes a long way.

How to Use:
Shake the container well before each use.
Apply BKF directly onto a wet surface or a damp sponge.
Gently rub the cleanser onto the soiled area.
Ensure to rinse thoroughly no more than one minute after application.
Dry the surface with a clean cloth.
Cautionary Advice for BKF
Given its acidic nature and the presence of polishing compounds, BKF Soft Cleanser can potentially etch or dull sensitive surfaces. We recommend conducting a patch test on areas like fibreglass, plastics, anodised aluminium, and brushed metal surfaces, such as those found on appliance exteriors, before full application.

In case of accidental ingestion, drink milk or water and seek immediate medical attention. If the product comes into contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water for 15 minutes. Avoid mixing BKF with other household chemicals like bleach or ammonia. When using BKF for extended periods or if you have sensitive skin, wearing gloves is advised. Avoid inhaling BKF dust. The product is safe for use in septic systems.
Overrated!
This product is advertised without cleaning gloves / safety gear so i assumed you could use it like that. This product dries your skin out so bad that your skin flakes off so its no good for people with sensitive skin.
Also this product stains dark matte tiles similar to calcium build up and you have to scrub twice as hard to get the stain out caused by the product that was used to get stains out 😮💨
For ovens - you still have to use steelo's with the product. Scrub daddys and bkf just wont do for end of tenancy clean.
The spray product fumes are too strong. Id recommend wearing m3 masks and keep children and people with breathing (asthma/copd/elderly) away when using the product.
In my view -
Baking powder, vinegar and lemon are just as effective as the powder bkf.
Jiff is equivalent to or just as good as the liquid bkf.
The bkf spray bottles are only good for respiratory problems.

Highly recommended! I tried all sort of stuff to remove the water stains on my car's windows and mirrors and none of them worked. Saw this online and emailed them to see if it will work. Got a reply and was told to try the soft cleaner first. They even sent a link on how to do it properly. I was in doubt at first but since it's not that expensive I bought it. Fast delivery. Tried it together with the scrub daddy and it worked liked magic!
Absolutely love this product! Would highly recommend and already do to my clients. As I’m a cleaner this is the best product I have come across yet ! Best part is it’s septic tank safe which is perfect for a few of my clients.

Absolutely love this soft cleanser. I use it on stainless steel sinks & bench top, in bathroom also fabulous for cleaning pots & frypans. Even cleaned some tea & coffee stained mugs. Just Made sure they were washed well after cleaning.
It's definitely my go to cleaner and will be buying again.
I have used this product to remove hard water splash’s off my bathroom tapes shower heads and chrome shower hinges. They have come up great after just one attempt - I was very impressed. There are a couple of areas I will need to have another go at and this was covered in the instructions. Definitely would recommend this product to others
