This article will help you clean your oven at a fraction of the cost of hiring a commercial cleaner.
This article is short, sweet, and to the point. Nobody likes oven cleaning (well... you might after this), so I have aimed to keep this as simple as possible.
Since sharing this, we have had hundreds of testimonials from Kiwis who have followed these steps to produce the results you would expect from a commercial cleaner. Here are a few of them for you to see. Then we shall move on to the secret sauce.

What you need:
1. Bar Keepers Friend - A can of their POWDER cleanser. You can use the Cookware option as it contains more food-based degreaser, but either one will work. This stuff is amazing.
2. A NON-SCRATCH scouring pad. - I recommend purchasing this Cleaning Kit that includes the correct scrubbers. Do not use those green scourers or steel scrubbers you buy at the supermarket, or you may damage the oven.
3. Bowl of water.
4. Tea towel.
5. Bar Keepers Friend MORE Spray (optional).
How to clean:
Step 1: Dip the non-scratch pad in water to wet it slightly.
Step 2: Apply a generous amount of BKF powder to the sponge (roughly 1TBS).
Step 3: Move the sponge in circular motions with decent pressure to clean the inside of your oven. Do the Glass. Walls. Trays and Racks.
Step 4: Rinse and wipe the solution off thoroughly.
Step 5: Lastly, for ovens with a stainless steel exterior, use BKF MORE Spray to clean the surface as it's more gentle. Apply a generous amount, and use your tea towel to scrub in the direction of the grain to get your oven looking clean and shiny.
IMPORTANT: Spot test a small area first BKF requires thorough rinsing to ensure the job is done well There you have it… A clean oven at a fraction of the cost.
It may take a little elbow grease to get all that built up grease and grime removed. However, I am confident you will be extremely please with your results.
